Overview

The SECB is asked to give its opinion on applications to market genetically modified or pathogenic organisms, or small invertebrates, from the leading federal authority concerned. Once the federal authority’s decision has been made, and with that authority’s agreement, the SECB Statements can be published.

The SECB primarily makes Statements on three different types of marketing applications: marketing of genetically modified organisms, of plant protection products and of biocidal products.
