Transport, Export, Import: decision tree
The decision tree below can be used to define the transport sheet applicable for the transport of a specific substance.
A. Substances covered by transport regulations
1 | Substances consisting of or containing pathogenic microorganisms (cultures, patient specimens, products, waste), either genetically modified or not. | |
2 | Substances consisting of or containing non-pathogenic, genetically modified (micro)organism (cultures, products, waste) | |
B. Substances exempt from Swiss and international transport requirements
* | Exempt substances of clinical or medical human or veterinary origin, exempt medical or clinical waste, exemptions for machinery and equipment. Note: Other regulations (e.g. the ordinance on epizoonotics) might apply! |
